You pessimistic doom and gloomers realize how whiney you sound when you make statements like that, right?
"Season hasn't started yet" "OL is a mess"
How do you know it's a mess if they haven't even played yet. I'm not saying it will happen but what if the OL goes out there and competes and plays solid, not saying Pro-Bowl level but just well enough to say "hey they weren't bad".
But what am I saying you pessimists aren't wired to have that kind of outlook, it's always doom and gloom
The patriots themselves and Scar said they wanted to go away from last year's constantly flexing /rotating OL positions. To get back to a habitual 5 who gain experience with each other. . . . No one here can name with certitude either who the #1 RG is or even who is healthy among the choices and they didn't play anyone consistently in preseason, and one of the OL didn't even get on the plane. . . I would think "mess" is not undeserved (could not be argued) at this point. Or at least "looks like a mess".
Another way of stating 'I think we'll all be 'pleasantly surprised' if Scar is able to piece together a line that doesn't get JG killed and holds its own.'
