As far as I understand, if Steelers win, we play the winner of Houston/KC.

If Bengals win, we play Bengals and results of Texans/KC doesn't matter as they will play Denver.

That being the case, I presume the easiest path to hosting the AFCCG is by hoping the Steelers and Houston win?

I'll pull for the Texans first, since I think we match up well with them.

If the Texans DO win, then I'll pull for the Steelers.

If the Texans DON'T win, then I'll pull for the Bengals, since personally I'd rather face the Ben-gals than the Chiefs.

Yep, the Texans are def my first choice, but I really believe that in the end it does not matter. If we want to be Super Bowl Champs we have to be able to beat anyone, as I think we can. The Seahawks were our toughest match up last year, and I am ok with a similar outcome.

This. Root for Texans. If they win, root for Pittsburgh. If they lose, root for Cincy

Wait, so... KC is the team we don't want?

I can honestly say I do not care other than would love to see Packers and Seahawks lose ...
That will occupy the media for much of the week if it happens .........

I'm rooting for the bengals and chiefs. I trust the chiefs to put up a better fight than the Steelers in Denver and I really can't see the bengals beating us

Seattle is going into a very child weather game with their third string rb. And you know if they lose everyone is going to say how they would have won if lynch had played

Team I want the most is Houston.

The team that I "fear" the most is Cincy. The HC/QB does take a leak down their pants in the big stage, but that team is full of talent. They can present the most problems for us on both defense and offense.

If I'm Denver, the team I don't want to play in the divisional is KC.

Maybe I'm underestimating the severity of some of the Patriots' injuries, but I'm not concerned about any team in the AFC having strengths the Patriots cannot take away. The defense is better than the 2014 version, and the QBs of the AFC teams are worse, except with the exception of Roethlisberger. But the Steelers defense is just awful.

My biggest concern is the team coming out flat after the bye and struggling to get the offense in gear.

Last year, we watched the Patriots come back from two 14-point deficits against the Ravens, and 10 down to the Seahawks in the 4th quarter. The offense was rolling in its hurry-up quick-strike mode. We haven't seen that in a while without Edelman as a catalyst. If they can get that going, the Patriots can score with any of these teams and put their defenses on their heels.

The only shoot out I see is the Steelers, but they'll be lucky to get out of the wild card round without their running game.

Yea that makes sense to me. Two games at home and HOU is the worst of the bunch.

Avoid DEN and KC. I guess CIN in Foxboro is ok but they have talent all over that roster

Lynch is playing. Not sure how well he will though

Houston and Pittsburgh, I guess. Had a brainfart before with regard to seeding. Houston to maybe get lucky and do the dirty work of knocking KC out of the playoffs because they look like they're going to be a pain in the ass. Pittsburgh beat Denver before, but I have my doubts of them being able to do it again in Denver without any semblance of a running game.

this is what I was thinking. It also gives Denver the tougher game in both scenarios.

I am rooting for Cincy and KC. Kc is the best match up for Denver and maybe after Cincy wins their first play-off game, they will think their job is done and relax a bit !! (One can hope ).
In the NFC, I really want Wash and Minn to win even though it doesn't affect us for now .
