Who are "your guys" at pick 60?

I still think it's too much of a risk. Maybe with our compensatory 3rd at the highest.

As a comparable, ife-ekpre went in the seventh, andMarcus lattimore in the fourth under similar situations.

Jaylon was a top ten pick compared to the other two which were potential first rounders, so I think the Revis pick makes sense as a landing spot.

Williams has moved up to my #1 back for the Patriots as well. I think without the injury, he would be talked about in the same breath as Elliot. His value/running style, and need all line up for him to be a Patriot come draft day.

Like Collins, fumbles are the issue with him. Williams had five in '14. But Whilst he's not as good as Elliot, i agree that on film he's the second best back. I've said all along that in normal circumstances I'd have given him a late first round grade. Glad to get more Williams converts.

In my next mock I have us triple dipping at WR and that includes Miller. I think he can contribute in a very limited role in year one but can see him contributing by year 2. The thing he needs to do is calm his routes down; he tends to make too many steps in his cuts. Aside from that, most everything else is there.

I really like Shepard. My only concern is that he's too much like The receivers we already have. Would be absolutely fine drafting him at 60 - he'll be a good NFL WR. I just like Miller's upside more and I think he offers more versatility in the long term.
3 WR?!?

Maybe getting Miller would make it all the more while great. As that it could take the Pats. Over to the next step.

I actually kinda agree. This draft isn't rich at most positions. But it kinda looks like wr is pretty rich, and if certain players are available that are higher up on our board if be completely fine with it. Unless they fill the same roles.

I would be completely ok with charone Peake, Braxton miller, and Byron Marshall. I think each could have big roles eventually. Marshall could be our outside speedster to take the top off of the defense. Peake can fill lafells role and btw I didn't know he was a top 15 player in the nation when he was being scouted, so the potential for him to be a better pro than college player is there( I think he also ran a 4.37 at his pro day). And if miller could play up to his potential he could be an all purpose player almost like Antonio brown.

Now my late round/undradted WRs I'm hoping that we look at is braverman and Devon cajuste. I think braverman is a log shot to go undrafted but if he does he can definitely be an Edelman type of player. His ability to make players miss is unreal. And for cajuste, I think he will have to make a move to TE. Hed have to learn a new postion and learn to block. but he went to Stanford so he should be pretty smart, He's huge, and has great hands. If you guys haven't seen him you should check him out an tell me what you think.

Braverman, Braxton and Malcolm Mitchell. Obviously a little extravagant but I was just identifying what I think are good fits.
I could get on board with this actually. I think its hard to fathom the Patriots taking 3, but if they miss on Braxton (I will put Shepherd in there too) why not take 2 guys on Day 3 with high upside and ideal scheme fit?

the problem with this is that you're basically making a guarantee that at least one will be a completely wasted pick as there will be no way you will keep all 3

Unless of course one can also : Protect Brady's Blindside in a pinch OR get after the QB.;)

Actually IMO this draft looks weaker than the past couple WR wise. In fact, I agree this draft doesn't look to have the high end talent as recent previous ones.

Oddly enough, to me, it seems to have that 2008 weak draft feel to it, the last time we got swindled out of a first.

at this point, to me, the first 4 picks shoud include:
RB
WR
OL
defensive front 7 guy

I like these 4 as well.

Rb Williams of Arkansas seems like a patriot type pick.

At wr, I like cooper and sheppard a lot. Cooper had never run a full route tree, but man is he a playmaker.

At ol, I love spriggs, best zone blocking scheme tackle in this draft, but sadly would settle for Clark of Texas tech. Chicago Bears and New York Giants employ a zone blocking scheme and I doubt spriggs gets by them.

At dt, a really like Clark if Ucla, but would settle for ridgeway if Texas. Clark is perfect for what we need on the side of brown.

cooper also fills the return specialist need.......

The thought of the Patriots stacking gronkowski and Bennett side by side in the end of the line and then having Cooper go motion to that side of the line and catch a Brady swing pass makes me think td!

How could defenses stop that?

At this stage mocks aren't about predicting exactly what will happen, at least for me. I use them to try and identify prospects that are good fits. And anyway, with 11 picks, one or two of those picks will likely be "wasted" at the end of the day. Just as they were last year (****son) and the year before (Halapaio, Gallon, Thomas).

true........it is about having extra darts

LIke Rich Hill tweeted this morning, with a stacked RB class next year this may be a year to get through the best we can and look at a serious RB next year.

Think Patriots are setting themselves up to take an RB in the loaded 2017 draft. Putting together a 1 year band-aid.

Clement, Conner, Fournette, McCaffrey, Chubb, Cook, Freeman, Perine, and Gallman would probably all go before the RB3 in the 2016 draft.

Gr8 idea! Hope BB trades the 2nd round pick that he was going to use to draft a RB THIS year, to a team for a #1 pick NEXT year.

Here is the list of guys I believe we have a shot to get at picks 60 and 61.

I would take any 2 of the following:
Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M
Jordan Jenkins, OLB, Georgia
Vadal Alexander, G, LSU
Josh Garnett, G, Stanford
Carl Nassib, DE, Penn State
Xavien Howard, CB, Baylor
Chris Jones, DT, MS State
Alex Collins, RB, Arkansas
Su'a Cravens, OLB, USC

They are in order of best to least...ie if the Ifedi is gone take Jenkins and Alexander. But my favorites are Ifedi and Jenkins. I also hope we get Weatherly in the 6th so that kinda pushed Nassib down and since I like Jenkins that pushed Cravens way down since I think he is a bit under sized.

No WRs? And I very much doubt we're taking an OG that high. I also think Shon Coleman would be more likely than Ifedi. Jordan Jenkins is interesting But I wonder whether the MClellin signing renders that moot.
