Why cant they both play? If the question is who is having the better year maybe Welker
I live in Fish territory, so I can confirm that it most certainly does. But being the considerate person that I am, I make sure to thank them for the trade each and every game...but for some reason they just don't appreciate it when I do. Go figure. :confused2:
Like most everyone else, I would say both. But if you are telling me I could only pick one, then I would choose Welker. There's nobody else in the NFL close to Welker at the slot position. Though Moss is also having a pro bowl year, I don't know that he's the number one outside guy in the league this year - I might give Reggie Wayne a very slight edge over Moss there so far this season.
And did anyone even see how Welker got that 60+ yard catch and run? Moss was running a route and he was TRIPLE covered as he was coming off the line.
They should both make it, but Welker is having a historic year, whereas Moss is actually doing a little less than I've come to expect from him (which is still very, very good). Gotta go w/ Welker.
Geez, what did you expect from the guy? He's leading the league in Receiving Yds, and he's probably top 3-5 in TD Reception.
Wes Welker has a chance to make history in a major statistical catagory for a wide receiver. Argument over.
Um, no, Randy Moss, going into this week, was first in receiving yards. Other guys have passed him this week because he hasn't played yet, and they have. However, Moss is having a very good year. Though your argument here is faulty (he's third in the league in receiving yards, but fourth in TD receptions), there is reason for this discussion. However, like I said, Welker can make history in receptions in a season... even though missing multiple games.

I love Welker as much as the next guy, but receptions are the most overrated stat out of all the receiving statistics. The best receivers have to be able to line up at all the positions.
Yeah, and only because hes matched up in single coverage against a team's worst cornerback, or a LB, on every play, because the Patriots other WR is better than him.
