I'm going with Favre... all the hype, and now he landed in NYC - which ensures a pretty high level of scrutiny as opposed to say, Tampa

For the first time in his career (well not counting Atlanta) he's in a new city on a new team in a relatively new system with new players with the pressure of rabid NYC fans who are sick and tired of being embarrassed by a certain team within their division, coached by a guy who went 4-12 who most New York fans believe to be a genius (and compared to them, he is) who recognizes he must win NOW or his tenure as HC of the NYJ - and likely his entire NFL career given the fact that he can't be trusted to keep a secret - is over.

Meanwhile, he'll feel even MORE pressure depending on how Rodgers and Pennington do - no doubt Favre wants to show Green Bay they were wrong to let him go... if Rodgers does well Favre will be feeling a lot of pressure to win in NY - same with Pennington, who Favre replaced... if he does well in Miami then that's going to make Tannenbaum and Mangini look stupid, and that in turn is going to put more pressure on Favre and the team.

So I'd have to say Favre is in the most inenviable position of any QB - sure he's nearly 39 and this is just one more - or one last - season for him, unlike other guys who are trying to make a career - but his legacy has a lot riding on a MangIdiot coached team, and Favre's got a lot of new challenges he's never faced before at a time when his physical skills are on the downside.

I'd have to go with Romo. I understand the Rodgers argument, but what I'd say to that is he's a rookie so he probably knows he has some leeway as opposed to Romo who still hasn't won in the playoffs despite 2 golden opportunities.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Jay Cutler....and he's not even a choice in the poll!

Cutler was handed the keys to the kingdom in Denver and the Broncos are 9-12 with him as starter.......and the guy he replaced was 40-17 as starter. If Denver turns in another mediocre season then he may not be the future of the Broncos. Denver has not missed the playoffs 3 straight years since the pre-Elway days.

Romo will be successful in the regular season and get the 'Boys in the playoffs, but I wouldn't expect to hear Peyton-esque doubts for another couple years.

I voted Chad, and here is why;
The most pressure.
-Tony has a contract and has established himself in the league.
-Brett has established himself in the league for ages, it seems he just wants to have fun at this point.
-Aaron is most def second to chad. He knows if he doesnt at least be 3/4 of the qb that brett is, the fans will be very pissed.
-Chad knows that if he doesnt stay healthy this year, and perform in the clutch, his 65.6 comp pct and 88.9 rating means crap and its all over.

Why would Cutler be in the poll? - The Broncos are not considered a real threat this year to do much more than 8-8 and Cutler has NO one behind him with any real potential at QB - No pressure if you ask me

I don't see Favre under much pressure at all. All the pressure on his succeeding or failing rests primarily on Mangini and Tannenbaum's shoulders. Favre is on a team that he has no real connection to and didn't want to play for to begin with. If he sucks, he can shrug his shoulders and slink on back to Mississippi. It will Mangini and Tannenbaum who will have to deal with the fact that they sold the fans on Favre being the missing piece of their Super Bowl contender pie. Favre has nothing to prove. If he sucks, he still has his HOF career to fall back on and he can retire.

With Aaron Rodgers, he is already despised by a portion of the Packer fan base for being the reason that the management squeezed out Favre. The Packers were an overtime Favre interception from going to the Super Bowl. If they don't go back to the playoff because of Rodgers and the Jets go because of Favre, all the fan ire is going to be placed on the guy. Besides, he is trying to show that he is starting quality QB to get a contract.

I just don't see Favre's heart being in it enough to have any pressure on him. He would like to go to the playoffs and win a Super Bowl, but seems to not really care either way and just wished he was somewhere else. I still think the fans in NY will blame Tannenbaum and Mangini more than Favre if he fails.

As for Romo, I don't think he has much pressure at all. He is a superstar down in the Dallas area and has gotten a free pass so far on pretty much everything he has done wrong in Dallas. If he has another late season decline, look for Son of Bum to get most of the blame.

Lord Favre.......

It was only a couple years ago that Denver was considered one of the top teams in the AFC. Their decline has been dramatic to say the least. Shanahan isn't a guy that is content with mailing in 8-8 seasons. Cutler has had the typical "pass" that a lot of promising young QB's get but that won't last beyond this season.

Not to mention that Cutler's diabetes which I believe is type 1 could definately cause some concern over his future and in games if he does not keep it under control,I wish him well with that.

The media says Favre. I think Romo has the most to prove, though. He needs to get to the SB as far as Cowboy fans are concerned.

I bet if we asked Brady who has the most pressure to win it all, he's say "ME!"

In order:

1. Tony Romo

2. Aaron Rodgers

3. Brett Favre

4. Sheli Manning (because everyone in america knows last year was a fluke)

5. Donovan Mcnabb

I hovered over each of the other two top three picks before selecting Romo. He's the clear choice. If BF has a tough year, he can blame it on the Jests or just retire again. The Other Guy in Green Bay feels no pressure unless BF has a big year and he sucks -- BF is not going to have a big year.

Romo is a good QB on a contender. You can blame both their SB exits on him. He is a distraction. He needs to step up. If he does, he joins TB and PM among the elite. If he doesn't, he is just another good QB that couldn't get it done.

Obviously Rodgers has a ton of pressure on him but I would put McNabb right behind him.

I said Favre becuase it is a new york team, he came out of retierment, and turned down 25 million dollars to play again. if he has a bad year and the team does not do well the press and the fans will rip him apart and he will not enjoy playing, thus making comming back to the nfl the biggest mistake of his career
