Which players will improve off 2006 performances? - Which will decline?

Never liked him after I saw him play against Penn St.in his last season at Mn. Got hit hard early & played very timid the rest of the game. IMOP he was the 4th best rb in the draft last year.

Last was like his only bad game of the season and he had an ankle injury during it. Sounds like you're basing your opinion of a player on one bad game among many, many good ones.

Marquise Hill is already at rock bottom. There's no where to go but up!

Things are trending upwards for:

Ellis Hobbs: ballsy corner with good speed, & a no regrets mentality needed for corner position. Played well despite wrist injury. Nice ability to irritate opponents with mock dances at midfield (see: Chargers, Phillip Rivers)

Mike Wright: Played surprisingly well in the middle (not his natural position) and will spell starters with increasing frequency.

Tom Brady: had good numbers despite working in two starting wide receivers. With Stallworth and returning players, could have career year in 2007.

Trending downwards:

Not sure Ben Watson will live up to Adonis-like build and world class speed. Only decent hands--must show he have intangibles that make him a Pro Bowl football player.

Asante Samuel: a very good corner who will nevertheless not come remotely close to 10 interceptions ever again. Still worth signing, but his play will trend back to his career interception rate.

How about Richard Seymour for most improved?

2 reasons: (1) the breakout season for Warren and addition of Thomas will draw the double teams away; and (2) he seemed to be playing hurt for most of the year which noticeably (to me, at least) impacted his aggressiveness.
