I choose SB52, reason on the bottom

Win SB46
Revenge against the Giants
Welker gets ring or no Welker drop

Win SB52
Second repeat
Second 3/4
No Brady off season drama
Butler being benched not big of a deal

Super Bowl 52 so we can be the only team to repeat since the late 90s Broncos. I’m not even sure the 2011 team deserved to be there tbh.

We repeated in 03/04, and Yea I heard that before because of our D but that wasn't a bad team, same season Gronk broke a record with like 17TDs and we had Hernandez and Welker

This. The 2011 team was relatively average for the early 2010s era Patriots. Plus, had we won, it would have been written off as coming against a 9-7 team, and wouldn't have changed anything about 18-1.

The defense was as bad as the offense was good.

Maybe if we win 46, Hernandez gets a ring, and is wearing it the night of the homicide, looks at it, and thinks twice about his actions and goes home instead. Hmmm

So many people say that Eli will end up in the HoF because of the SB wins, despite an incredibly mediocre career, that I'm tempted to say that I'd prefer to win in 2011. Overall, though, I have to stick with the most recent one, since there's a chance -- as much as I hate to admit it -- that it's the last time the Patriots may reach the SB with Brady.

I already predicted 19-0 in that other thread, so don't take my doom and gloom seriously.

I think this year could be our last shot, a lot free agents next season.

52 and it's not even close, especially if the win came on the drive after the last Philly TD. Imagine 4-for-4 2nd half TD drives, 500+ yards passing at age 40, defending the title like that one year after the 25pt comeback? JFC.

Regards,
Chris

Might as well add 45 while your at it
Nah, we would've lost to the Packers in the SB, but we should've been at least AFC champeens that season.

Losing to Tubby Wrecks & Mr Buttfumble, at home, in the POs, after destroying them less than one month earlier? Inexfeckinscusable.

Still can't believe it till this day after a Mvp season from Brady and a 14-2 record in 2010, how they would of faired against the 2010 Packers in the Super Bowl is up for debate.

I'm waiting for Mosslost's input and perhaps the Ray Lewis Super Bowl body count before I answer the poll but I think that before the season all I want is to get to the Super Bowl to have a chance to win but when we lose I become like Captain Stone for a week or two which is not good for anyone's blood pressure.

46 because we were truly, absolutely the better team for the second time against a team that got every break and bounce imaginable - the 2011 Giants were OUTSCORED during the regular season while we went in the game with the best weapon in the NFL playing on one leg, AND had at least three fairly easy chances to put the game away (strip sack we didn’t recover, Brady’s crazy INT attempt to Gronk, the Welker drop).

In 52, were we really the better team with that defense? We got to face a team who lost their MVP level candidate and they were still at least equal overall, if not better. If we play that game 100 times they win at least 50 with Foles, and obviously more with Wentz.
