Where was Junior Seau?

I would have loved to see Seau play in the 4th quarter just to settle the defensive kids down. They could have used some more defensive leadership at the end there.

Against Indy, I think it best to have some younger quicker legs in there. You only have to give Manning a step and he'll get the ball to his receiver.

Same reason why he didnt play last week vs Miami. The colts arent a running team up the middle and thats what Seau's strength is, stopping the run. He isnt fast enough to cover the Colts WR's and TEs. He wasnt fast enough to get outside to defend the wildcat and thats why he didnt play last week.

Unfortunately, the surf was really up along the coast and Jr couldn't make it.

That said, each opponent presents a different challenge. Seau's ILB run stoping was not on the night's requirement list. He'll play against the Jets Sunday afternoon.
