Now that the dust has settled a little bit....I dont think trading collins hurts the defense much as long as hightower stays healthy. There is no one on the roster who can even come close to duplicating what he does. That's where collins would be needed most-hes the one guy who has the size and ability to fill in for high-not at high's level-but better than anyone else. When collins took highs spot last year when high was injured, he did an overall excellent job.this year jamie has been very inconsistent-sometimes great, sometimes horrible, sometimes jag. I love what roberts brings to the D and am excited to see what his increased snap counts will bring. And we know the D was going to continue to improve as the season wore on-and i still expect that to happen. The starting D may turn out to be even better by the end of the year w/o collins-but my one concern is if hightower goes down. But BB knows what hes doing.

Am i the only one who thinks Elandon Roberts is poor man Booby Wagner

as crazy as it sounds, I dont think it will hurt them that much this year. Collins hasnt been playing well. The way the media is pushing it now is as if Collins was von miller out there. now, collins CAN have that type of impact but he clearly wasnt playing with that effort this year.

Mingo/Roberts probably step into having a bigger role. and BB probably feels those guys playing 100% effort/discipline is better than collins better talent playing with 20% effort/discipline
