He will (and should) start. I was pissed about the hit, but he apologized, got his fine, and it's time to move on. Unless Belichick feels like he's likely to do it again and draw another 15 yards, I can't see him punishing BM further.

especially now that meriweather has apologized and appeared to be quite contrite to boot.

as long as heap didn't get hurt, maybe some good can come from this event

As has already been the case in the past, that will depend on a lot of things... I hope he does, and not because he has no other choice but because in practice this week he earns it.

In the video I thought he seemed sincere in his apology, and appeared to have received the message from BB loud and clear. And as others mentioned, the Pats are not 100% healthy at the position. Sanders was hurt last week and Page was held out of practice today.

I don't see the benefit of holding Meriweather out for even a portion of the game Sunday.
