Gilmore's contract will probably be reworked next year, and DMac might well retire.

Devin McCourty is not under contract for 2020, so the team wouldn’t see any type of cap savings. If he does choose to come back, it’s another issue that they’ll have to deal with.

With guys like Brady and DMac getting long in the tooth, it’s difficult to project anything much lower than what they’re counting for, this year, right? I mean, it’s not like you’re able to have year one hits that are going to be all that reasonable.

25m for Brady and 10m for Devin? I think that’s got to be in the ballpark.

I think we may see both McCourty’s hang them up after this season, and that will be a shame, good players and good people. I do like the depth and future in the secondary, the question will be how they hang onto them.
