This may be an easy answer either way, but I find it a tough answer. Is Moss good enough to outweigh the lack of depth?

It depends who the QB is. I think Brady works best with receivers who are superior with timing, precise route running and sure hands. Moss could outweigh anyone if he had a QB that could hit the long ball with regularity (unfortunately, that is not Brady's best throw).

I think the Ravens will be looking to tee-off on Brady until he shows he can get Edelman/Watson the ball in the quick passing game to offset the blitz.

Not sure. It would be nice to see what Moss, Edelman, Watson/Aiken could do if teams respected our running game. A one-dimensional offense is much easier to defend.

They played a different more methodical game with, Brown, Branch and Givens. Then every once in a while they would max protect and hit a deep come back. That's better football. More run formation, now it's gun and chuck.

Are you kidding? A great wide receiver, converted quarterback,

and special teams player vs three legitimate wide receivers.

Nothing tops that 2007 core of Moss, Welker, Gaffney, and Stallworth. But the 2004 core of Branch, Givens, Brown, and Patten was special, too.

With Welker likely out for the playoffs, this year's core will be the weakest since the SB 36 squad.

Brady's deep ball has definitely regressed. I think he can handle the blitz. The question is if anyone can get open.
