What is AD's official status?

I have not heard anything definitive that AD has been IR'd. Only that his season 'may' be over. I guess I'm holding out hope that he isn't IR'd and can return to help the team in the playoffs. Has anyone seen the official status?

The same as Matt Cassel or BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

Practically?

The same as Shawn Crable or Rodney Harrison.

Is there any reason to delay listing him to the IR and leaving a roster spot open for Thursday's game?

Yes, I realize there will be 45 active on game day regardless but it seems like all NFL teams keep 53 all the time.

I think no news is good news myself. We dont hear much about injuries but it seems to me when I player should be on IR he is moved there pretty quickly.

When ever reports come out a guy will be IRed, they're usually true. It's only Tuesday but everday that passes no news is good news. If he's not IRed by thursday I imagine he'll be back.
