I'm not sure why the hate for the thread. OP asked for intuition, what we THINK we'll get out of Vereen. Ya know, a prediction. We can predict the score of a game, the season record, how many catches Lloyd will have....but we can't predict where Vereen will end up?
I still have high hopes for Vereen. What little we have seen from him, and what more we have seen in college looks promising. I don't have high hopes for him being the workhorse like Ridley was today. But if he is a 10 carry/5 catch guy (K Faulk) out of the backfield, he will be good. I think he has the ability to be better than Faulk. Hopefully, the injuries stop.
Ras I Dowling. I am praying for him to be injury free. His ceiling is high.
