What do you predict will have been the Patriots best acquisition this offseason?

I think the resigning of Moss was great and an obvious choice but if you think about it, Brady got us to the AFC Championship game without Moss and Welker but with Gaff and Reche.

So my choice here is Mayo, if this guy continues his upward trend in the D his addition will prove to be the most valuable. The playmaking ability this kid has flashed is something that our D has sorely lacked in recent years at the LB position. Youth, speed, intelligence and playmaking ability will translate into him becoming a leader on the defense. The torch will be passed onto him, something that I didn't know would ever happen adequately.

Mayo's presence may light a fire under under some of the older players too.

Testosterone, Adrenaline, and a healthy dose of competitiveness can do a lot to spruce up an older player.

ie: I'm sure Mayo will make Favre a faster runner.
