Julio Jones in tight coverage does a running front-flip, tips the ball at the top of his arc, falls face-first breaking his neck and dies instantly, with the ball still in play. The ball is batted backward by his foot, hits a Patriots defender, and comes to rest between Jones' legs without touching the ground. The play is whistled dead because of the injury. Jones is never "down," the ball is lodged beneath his deceased taint, and the official rules that the corpse has possession of the ball at the one yard line, but in the interim, the clock has run down to one second. Matty Ice fumbles the ensuing the snap, ending the game.*
*I know that's not funny. It's just about as likely as the end of every other damn SB we've played since 2008.
