What about Chad Jackson?

Not sure I understand why injured players need to be on the field. I always thought they were kept off the field.

Way to take it out of context. He's not going to e a good player by barely getting his feet wet in the NFL over 2 years. WR's that will have his history over thier 1st 2 years, should Chad sit out the year, don't have much of a shot to have good NFL careers? The idea the Patriots can just keep saving him for some distant time and he's going to step in and play well isn't a very likely happening.

IMO CJ's early struggles and the self-discipline he discovers fighting through them will make him a better Patriot in the long run. There is no reason for impatience. The WR corps is more than adequately stacked while we await his return to action.

Actually, his type of injury takes two years to completely snap back.

Not saying he can't play, but read the articles about Rodney's "spring in his step". 9 months recovery, but full comenack in the second year.

Same as McGahee.

I think Chad's headed for PUP and maybe injury fill in late, if needed.
