We're on to Miami

No, but there's no need to worry about it. What makes Miami different from any other team?

Suh played here last year and didn't do anything. Don't know why Verner would make you any more nervous than anyone else.

If those are the tactics Miami resorts to, they'll lose, and their players will get thrown out. Simple.

Since when has Suh been penalized or thrown out of a game for his antics? Heck, he barely gets fined.

Andrews and whomever is at guard is going to have a tough day, such played a lot better on sunday

Yes because its not like the interior has went up against great defensive interior lineman this year.

I was trying to find out if they had gone back to one-gapping.. did you see this for yourself?

I would imagine that Campbell has them one-gapping again, and if so, this becomes an area of concern for us.

Saw it myself and then got it confirmed yesterday on Sirius when they were doing a defensive breakdown of Miami on the Morning Drive.

Can you elaborate?

When that idiot Coyle, under Philbins, had them two-gapping, that meant a lot less penetration, a lot less of the DL going into the backfield.

But now that they are one-gapping, we'll see a lot of aggressive rushing. It's not Suh I'm worried about, it's losing the numbers game as far as blocking. For example, Wake who you know will be camping out at 9 tech wide of Fleming (overwhelming advantage for Wake), will necessitate using two blockers, which leaves a free blitzer coming from somewhere else.

Sounds like it's time for more emphasis on the run game.

Has Suh ever even touched Brady when the two have played against one another? It seems like the guy never shows up against us.

He's pressured Brady a few times and hit him twice. I can't remember if any were sacks.

Exactly, because Miami plays a lot of undisciplined ball on defense. They don't always account for all the gaps so Lewis should have a big day. Miami's DL loves to play aggressive and we can use the run game to trap them or ride them down out of play. That's how we usually take Suh out- make his aggressiveness work against him.

I'm not seeing it......

the Pats are going to **** all over the dolphins.....teams don't change that fast

Blowing out Cleveland and Tennessee isn't a concern. Both teams beat themselves every week. There's some talent on the Dolphins, especially the defensive line, but the mismatch is on the sidelines.

The Dan Campbell thing is the most interesting part of this game. He's inexperienced and he's surrounded by guys who don't have a depth of pro coaching experience. It's not like Norv Turner is sitting up in the booth or anything. Miami Dolphins | Coaches

Campbell's coaching resume is basically serving as a Tight Ends coach with the Dolphins under Tony Sparano and Joe Philbin. Not exactly out of Bill Belichick's league. I can't imagine Campbell will be making many in-game adjustments that Belichick can't handle when things start getting squirrelly.

The OC is a guy named Bill Lazor who has been around for ten years or so but there's no reason to think he can outcoach Matt Patricia. The DC is a guy named Lou Anarumo with even less experience - basically a DBs coach who is in his first stint as a DC. Josh should own this guy. Anarumo is in his first stint looking at the full range of what an offense does and scheming to attack weaknesses or take away strengths.

The Dolphins basically sucked at rushing the passer under Philbin, but did have success the last two weeks against a rookie and Brian Hoyer. Tom Brady is an entirely different level of quarterback for Anarumo to match wits with. Josh and Belichick will sniff out what they're trying to do and attack it.

Short week for these guys, too. On the road.

I smell a blowout.

I don't think it will be a blowout. BB, Ernie & Co. can shred the entire Philbin/Coyle folder and have to get a feel for the Dolphins based on the tape of two blowouts. Dont underestimate that.

Yes adjustments will come after a quarter or so, and if we dont comit too many errors we should be fine but I would have preferred to play against the known variable that is Philbin.

I think as long as we take care of the ball, Pats should win by a score or two after a close half.

The boogeyman every week is the opposing team's D-Line, and it seems like the Patriots have consistently answered the bell. I have confidence they'll put it together on Thursday.

can't believe the pats play tomorrow night..just doesn't seem right

I wanna see better 3rd down defense.

I just don't want to see any cheap shots towards our players especially TB
