Well, This Sheds Some Light on IF The Offense Will Change

So while QB is obviously the biggest asset to a football team, and what you build around - obviously this fluctuates based on the personnel around them as well - such as us trying to build a strong run game in absence of receiving threats last year.

So the offensive personnel, outside of Brady (who obviously is the biggest chess piece in all of football), is relatively the same. Do we still push towards a run-focused attack? Obviously, the draft might give us hints towards their planned direction, but even if Stid does have great pocket presence and is a great passer in general, do our toys suggest we're gonna still see a heavy run approach?
In my non-expert opinion they need to ensure Stid has as little pressure on him as possible to be perfect. That means having a very good D, a strong running game, solid pass/run blocking o-line and obviously guys that can get open and catch the ball. In theory a strong running game keeps the pass rush honest and the LBs closer to the line which opens up the intermediate/long pass so yes, a solid running game is very important to have. No one wants Stid throwing 45 times a game.

Sounds obvious but we all know because of his greatness Tom covered up a lot of weaknesses. Bad D, lousy running games, crappy WRs and TEs, bad playcalling, etc.

I believe we saw a glimpse of what 2020 will be last year. Whether is was a lack of confidence in the offense, Tom, running game, WRs or just his overconfidence in the defense and STs to win games, Bill/Tom did a lot of game management last year (see not running the 2 minute drill before 1/2 time).
