3.) As for my name, it's an homage to Phillip K. **** and Roger Zelazny, two of the greats of science fiction. I've mentioned this in the past. Here you go:

Deus Irae: A Novel: Philip K. ****, Roger Zelazny: 9781400030071: Amazon.com: Books

Deus Irae means God of Wrath but, in this case, the name is there just because it's the title of the book.

I've read a lot of PKD over the years. Deus Irae is next up on my Kindle.

he will play next sunday. Guranteed. will practice friday and doesnt need much practice with manning to get ready to play sunday.

Actually, he's not integral to the Broncos. They have plenty of playmakers on that team.

He leads the team in targets, receptions and touchdown catches, he would appear to be integral.

Oh come on guys

Lets stop pretending welker was some sort of unstoppable white calvin Johnson when he was here.

Poor analogy, they play different positions. Welker certainly could be practically unstoppable, especially on days with double-digit receptions. Of course, his race has nothing to do with it.

Dude loves Welker more than life, so no point in arguing with him. We know love can blind.

And he's right, Welker played like a HOF player here and continues it in Denver, those sh.tting on him are complete morons. Welker gave them the chance to match an offer all those bashing him claim is less than he took, they didn't, they turned him out, not the other way around. And they were idiots to do so. Love this team, love this franchise, they f.cked up, welker deserves much better than the crap he gets from the idiots in this forum. If Amendola ever performs anywhere near what Welker did they got a steal, and i believe he'll do just that, Welker would have signed here for that deal and they never offered it. That's on them, not him.

Go ahead and name the receivers who produced more catches, yards, first downs, and YAC the last 5 years, and you can use any race you want.

We'll be waiting for you to support your argument with facts other than his height or race.

False. Julius Thomas has the most TD receptions on the team. Welker's tied for second with Demaryius Thomas, and 3rd on the team in receiving yards.

Wes Welker has been cleared to practice and is on the field today, according to reporters in Denver.

And like Brady said, he'll be on the field on Sunday night.

Did anybody honestly think there was a chance that Welker wouldn't play? He probably wouldn't miss this game even if both ACL's blew out and he had a vicious case of hemmerhoids.

As usual on this board the extremists on both sides of the WW thing are taking over the thread. Can't we just accept that both sides might have screwed up?

WW turned down $8 during the season last year. He thought he was worth way more before the FA period started, than the $6mil he finally got. And, maybe the Patriots thought he would never leave.

But the Patriots were better prepared for the loss of WW, with Danny and Edleman. What hurt the offense more than anything and has still not been replaced is the unexpected loss of the accused criminal sitting in a jail cell. That was the big loss.

Interesting. I thought I read somewhere that he couldn't even take the test until Friday? Must have completely misheard that.

Bad for the Pats, but we might as well see where we're at now. If we have to play the Broncos in the playoffs he'd more than likely be back then anyway. Plus the chess match on this should be fascinating to watch.

That would be a big problem for him. With both ACLs blown AND hemorrhoids, he wouldn't be able to sit in a wheelchair.

The Patriots tried to screw over a player. It's not as if this is the first time the team's done it. It came back to bite them in this ass this time.

I think he has to pass a test on Friday to be cleared to play. Being cleared to practice doesn't mean he is cleared to play. Odds are extremely good he will be cleared to play though.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks the clarification.

No way Welker misses this game. I'm sure he wants to prove to the Patriots it was a big mistake letting him go.
You cleverly make it sound as if NE released him. Nice try.
