Welker could miss homecoming with concussion

WW is an integral component on a team that stands in the way of the Pats winning another super bowl title. I won't shed a tear if he's unable to play next game or any other game moving forward.

That's not really true. Stopping a great offense isn't the reason the pats haven't won in 19 season....This teams weakness has been great physical defenses that managed to shut down the pats offense.

Von miller is more important than welker is on that team.

How many games did they lose with Miller absent?

Wes' 9 TD's says he is.

So the Broncos fall apart without him? If not, you need to re-evaluate what the word means because it means that he is essential to their success.

I don't buy it but if you're right and he doesn't play, then we win easy...right?

I said it before and I'll say it again; if Wes isn't 100% better from that concussion, there's no way the Broncos are going to play him this week. While it's a huge game for bye implications, the Chiefs game the week after is more important.

It sounds like he was initially cleared and then symptoms flared up again, so we'll see. I'd obviously prefer him to play, but if he's not OK, I don't want to see him going, especially considering his concussion history.

Well, we have no proof otherwise do we?

I'm 100% certain that this game will be easier for the Pats with WW out than with him in.

Look at the teams they played.

Against the patriots, von miller harassing brady is a bigger threat than welker is on offense.
Maybe ..... then again, maybe not.

The Broncos are looking to win the Super Bowl. WWW is a critical component of that, and he gave a pretty good demonstration of why that is during last night's game. Playing word games about "integral" doesn't change the reality.

word games? Um, I'm using the real definition. If you don't know it, look it up. God, I'm bailing on this dance now.

I know what the word means, obviously, you don't... enjoy.

We all know what Welker can do, probably better than you. I don't think many of us would be disappointed if he can't go. I know I sure as hell won't be.

Technically the sleeper murderer was just as much of a critical component as welker is for the broncos....And yet the pats are still strong

Okay, but that's not what integral means...I'm not going to harp on it but integral means an essential part of the machinery. He is not IMO. Like any other player, he increases their chances but to me, he is not integral/essential to their success.
If WW isn't integral then who, besides Manning, is?

I never understood the point of applauding ex players still in their prime who left for more money.

That's like giving your ex girlfriend a hug for all the great times you had after she dumped you.

Welker dumped the pats for more money.

I would hug an ex girlfriend.

Even in Denver, Welker's on pace for about 100 catches and double digit TDs. Hernandez has never reached 80 receptions or 8 TDs.

If you're trying to find the WWW equivalent, it would be Amendola. If the prisoner had been in NE this season, the equivalents would have looked more like this:

Gronk = Thomas
Amendola = Welker
Decker = Hernandez
Thomas = Dobson

Thomas/Dobson would be the most tenuous equivalent, but they'd both be the #4 options, and a higher option down by the goal line.

Man, welker is going to take some abuse over the next few weeks. Last night it was flowers mauling him, next week it's dennard and the week after that it's flowers again.

Just change your name to "ego stultus sum" and be done with it dude...really (joke). If you're going to take a Latin name, then you should know the root word that integral is taken from. The only word games are the ones where you claim to know yet don't understand the Latin behind what your name implies.

I'm done...Anyone can look it up and see what it means. I don't need to defend my statement. Veritas vos liberabit

Dude loves Welker more than life, so no point in arguing with him. We know love can blind.

I agree with one exception much as the guy disgusts me Hernandez would have been = Welker as our #2 target.
