Seems to play a little (or a lot) like Clay Matthews....

Sorry sorry my friend ,,,,,,did you just write # 6 !!!!!!Really like this draft and await the radio sportstalkers tell how they could have had that guy, or the trembling fear of the Rosen trade.. from what I see this draft is about smart, fast and versatile players, on paper all these picks look like "keepers" who will help the Pats on the way to #6.....
Do not understand all the 7th round picks....
I think your underrating Wise. He hasn't hit his ceiling yet. He out prefromed expectations his rookie year and got better last year. Now he's ready for an increased role with Flowers leaving and I expect him to continue to get better and better. Some people are saying he'll play LB. I disagree, if only because the need at edge rusher is that much greater, and Winovich is primarily known for doing DE stuff. I get that he's the size of a linebacker, but we've had players like that before see success at DE here. I'm sure he'll stand up plenty because the defense has so many looks, but I absolutely see him in an edge role regardless of alignment.
I like the idea of a high floor, mostly developed player at a position of immense need. Hopefully he can at least enter the Deatrich Wise tier of players and not go the way of Bequette. Ideally he gives you someone you don't mind giving the 2nd most snaps at the position behind Bennett, because I don't love anyone else at the position. Wise and Simon are alright rotational pieces but not starters.

Might be obvious but I really like Wise.
As a 4th Rd pick his 9.5 sacks so far has exceeded my expectations and now I expect him to continue to grow and I think he takes up the slack with Flowers gone.I really liked Wise before, during, and after year 1. I just expected more out of him last year, I dunno. He wasn't bad, he just wasn't good, and I never really heard much about him as a "potential" guy so much as a "ready to go" guy.
His nickname is THOR!

kinda looks like Brady...
Good post. I love it as well. He's a character, hard worker & genuine person. Like you said he'll be a fav among fans.Man, these videos just never get old. You’ve got these kids, even the ones playing at well-known colleges, but still kids, suddenly hearing they’re gonna be playing for the freaking New England Patriots. It’s got to be absolutely mind blowing for them and the people close to them. Awesome to see.
So, on pass rushing downs, do you see it as:
Winovich-Bennett-Butler-Simon
Or
Winovich-Guy-Butler-Bennett
