In order to get throws from TB you have to earn his trust. DA earned it this year and now he's an integral part of the team. With all of the injuries someone had a chance to make a career. James White over the past 2 games has shown promise. He ran the wheel route really well and caught some nice balls. Made a couple of nice outs from the backfield. He's not Dion Lewis and can improve on screens, but he will be an integral part of our playoff run.

Now if only he could have scored instead of going down at the one yard line.

Nice game yesterday for him.

He'll learn. GRONK had a clunker like that back in 2010 (worse, really).

One of the very few bright spots. The scoreboard would have been much more embarrassing if not for him and to a lesser extent Amendola.
We could have moved the ball on them all day if Brady was ****ing looking at him. I believe the coaches eventually saw how open he was on so many plays.

Definitely saw him open in the flat a couple of times. Maybe he doesn't get far on those but probably could snag 5-10 yards as opposed to searching desperately downfield for something that isn't there. Hopefully we make better use for him here on.

I was very happy with him and he was a bright spot yesterday. The guy I was watching the game with said we needed to see more white power which was awkward but he meant he wanted to see more James White.

It looked like he and Brady were clicking in the 4th quarter. My recollection was also that he proved himself to catch everything thrown to him, which stood out on a night where there were so many dropped balls. I also remember seeing totally whiff on a blitz pickup

White was definitely one of the few bright spots in this game. I'm guessing we'll be seeing a whole lot more of him going forward. He doesn't have Lewis' athleticism, but he's surehanded and gets the yards he's supposed to get. Which, in the current incarnation of the Pats offense, makes him probably the second best option we have.

Microagression?

Nice job by him as a receiver, not so much as a running back, but I'll take it.

Wouldn't mind if he was a little harder to tackle though.

Microagression?
In someways it would be great because it could twist a term and I think it would piss off the folks who think they own it now. Having the Butters avatar I can only think of BikeCurious

James White have better hands than LaFell nuff said!

He only had two carries and they both came in our uncreative, dead obvious running formation.

I thought I was the only one thinking it at the time! I was so disappointed.

McDaniel's needs to call James White's number more he showed yesterday that he may be better than advertised. The Offense could use him because it's slim pickings after Amendola. I didn't think much of James White but one thing is certain when he's thrown to he catches it.

Part of what made Lewis so valuable is that teams were game-planning for him (and he was still able to beat them). He was a real, dynamic threat.

White hasn't earned that reputation yet, so teams don't fear him. They have to cover him, obviously, but they don't have to game plan for him. There's a major difference.

If White keeps playing like he's playing, eventually teams will either have to dedicate more resources and move coverage his way, or get burned time and time again (like Vereen burned Seattle in the Super Bowl). If they do dedicate more coverage to him, it opens things up for everyone else.

White playing well helps on so many levels.

No question. White has faults and shortcomings but having bad hands isn't one of them
