A couple of minor changes for this week. After a one week experiment, I am going back to one betting thread. It should be less complicated to follow for everyone. Our friend and current #1 bettor Froob is the reason for the other change. He bet the money line for the Patriots. Well, the DIngleberry Casino did not offer money line odds! In an attempt to be a friendly casino (really an attempt to take his money), I offered the odds at +180. The SOB won! So now, I will provide money line odds for underdogs only. Please do not ask for money line odds for favorites. I will not take those bets as the odds are all in the negative, and becomes a real pain in the arse to calculate. If a money line is not offered for a particular game, it means the line is close to a pick em game, and there is no value offering a money line. A money line is simple: If the underdog wins the game outright, you win the bet. There is no point spread. So if you bet $1000 on the Jets money line below at +400, you would win $4000 rather than winning $1000 on a point spread bet. Please ask if you are confused by money lines or teaser bets if you would like to make these bets but are still a bit confused.

PLEASE, I beg you, quote your own bet when making additional bets in this thread. I should be able to see ALL of your bets for the week in your last post.

With all of these new additions, there are a lot of betting options now: Straight line bets, teasers, money lines, and prop bets. I hope it adds to the fun.

Prop bets below are only for the Thursday night games as there are no weekend prop bets available yet. I will update the props (and tag everyone on the message) when the prop bets are updated for weekend games (likely by Friday nights). Use the results thread if you need to see your current pay roll.

***Packers / Chiefs is now (-7.5) and 48***

Switched from the Packers to Chiefs after I heard the Rodgers news.

I thought it might be fun to keep a prop bet for a Jakobi Meyers TD going, that is, until it actually happens lol @Dingleberry . Btw, I now officially hate the Bungles.

Patriots $4,000

The Jakobi TD prop will definitely be in the weekend props. He's staying until he gets a TD.

This is getting scary. I may need to rethink betting all together. I mean this isn't for real money and week after week it looks more and more professional. By the end of the year there's gonna be dingleberrycasino.com and then an app. Then a partnership with the XFL...

@Dingleberry
I think the KC line needs to be adjusted with Rodgers out. The casino may go broke at -1.
edit: forgot about the total as well, duh!

The evolution from Week 1 is staggering. It started as simple bets on games with the spread. Then we added O/U. Then teasers. Then prop bets. Now money line bets. I wanted it quick and simple, but I can't help myself. And I have already committed to doing this every year. Now I am thinking placing preseason odds on teams to win divisions, make playoffs, etc. So you can use some of your bank roll on futures and hopefully cash in at the end of the regular season!

Everyone starts next year with 100k. I will allow everyone to bet up to 20% (20k) on future bets (5k on Pats to win AFCE at +350, for example). So the bank rolls could get big bumps at the end of the regular season leading to the playoffs. I am also thinking about rewarding everyone who finishes above water this year with a small percentage added to next year's starting bank roll. Sort of a reward for not going bust this year. And it will hopefully discourage all or nothing type best during the last week.

I am insane, aren't I?

Checking on it now....

The line has been updated in the first post to -7.5 and 48. I did not want to get into changing lines throughout a week, but this is a bit of an extreme example. @sb1 will be happy to know that I will honor his bet as it was put in before the line change.

You said it not me.

Teaser: Jets +16.5 and Bears +12 for $5000
Teaser: Titans +13.5 and Chargers +4.5 for $5000
Jets/Colts over 46 for $5000
Bengals -2.5 for $5000
Texans/Dolphins under 46 for $5000
Broncos/Cowboys under 49.5 for $5000

Teaser edited as I try to regain my grasp on 1st grade math.

On the 2nd teaser. If doing a 6 point teaser, you will get the Titans at +13.5. So even better. The Chargers are -1.5 favorites already, so the teaser would put them at +4.5.

Wow okay.

Jets to beat the spread, $3k.
Jets money line 4:1, $2k
Dolphins to cover, 2k
Cowboys cover, 2k
Chiefs over Packers, 8k
1k on a Braxton Berrios TD
Patriots for 5k to cover

Over/Under until some mediot has to apologize for getting too enthusiastic about Mike White and saying he's a White supremacist or something.

I'm saying 4 more days.

Just wanted to make sure you saw the Chiefs line is -7.5 now.

When Arian Foster was in the league, I tried to start a fan club for him called Arian Nation. It didn't take off.
