Week 7: Other NFL Games

Justin Fields is not very good.
Zack Wilson is not very good.
Trey Lance is not very good.
Trevor Lawrence is okay, but his team is absolute garbage.

We picked the right guy.

Mac Jones should have gone 2nd overall at worst.

How lucky we are!

HAHAHA @ the patriot fan rowing the boat in the stands....

Fields looks bad but Nagy needs to go, horrible HC.

I am beginning to think without COVID, there might have been only two QBs drafted in the first round. How much did a shorten restrictive season and lack of a proper scouting process overrate the quality of a lot of first round picks?

You are underestimating the number of dumb GMs out there...

Teams have a stupid “rehab QB” syndrome. You’re telling me you‘re not picking a blue chip QB prospect because you have Sam Darnold, Tua, Jared Goff, Teddy Bridgewater, or Jaylen Hurts? All those teams passed on drafting Fields or Jones. Not that I liked Fields, but if you’re already going for mobile QBs, might as well get another lottery ticket.

I think it should have gone Lawrence then Mac, but I can understsnd wanting to pick Wilson over Mac. He’s more boom or bust. He would have been ideal to sit for a season behind a solid team…worst situation is taking a guy like him and putting him on a team like the Jets.

I would take Trevor over Mac because I believe Trevor having been on the Pats since April would be better. But I would take Mac over everyone else.

In fairness to Detroit, they took Goff off the Rams' hands for draft picks. I don't think they ever looked at Goff as the QB they were going with beyond this year. They just decided to wait until next year to get his replacement.

And the Eagles set themselves up to potentially get the top QB in next year's draft. I think they figured they would see what they have with Hurts and then draft their QB of the future next year.

And of course, Miami thought they would eventually trade for Watson.

I always under the belief that you don't draft a QB in the early first round unless you are in love with one. The odds were always good that at least one and most likely two or three of the five QBs drafted in the first round this year would be busts or disappointments. Sometimes it is better to go with the reclamation project you have for one year and hope to get a franchise QB in the following year.

All the late games going chalk after all.

chargers on a bye? It’ll be some bs having to play two teams back to back coming off byes.

Don't forget about the Giants passing up on both Herbert and Mac because they have Daniel Jones...

one of the things I like about Belichick is that when he makes a mistake he admits it and moves on...other GMs seem to hold onto mediocre players they've drafted in the hope they will look like geniuses

3-0 Darnold was smiling. 4 game losing streak Darnold doesn’t seem as happy.

And now he got benched and Watson might be coming to town.

Bengals are nothing to sneeze at.

Bengals are a surprise team this year.

Jamar Chase is going to be offensive ROY...I would like to see Mac get it but it might be tough.

Still a long way to go, it’s between the two right now for sure.
