I mean I don't mind it. Corner blitz maybe hes expecting the ball to come out fast and playing the hitch route, guesses wrong and pressure doesnt get there and WR gets behind him. **** happens

Script play for them for sure. They wanted that matchup. Hopefully we adjust from whatever that was.

That was why Dugger is a backup.

That’s a two-fold screwup:

1. Dugger is the best you have at Safety…and he is awful.

2. You blitz the corner on Dugger’s side leaving him to cover Olave…that’s just stupid.

Hopefully that gets scrapped from the remaining gameplan.

People will get on Duggar for that play, but I blame the design of a defense that has your box safety responsible for covering their speed WR deep with no help. Sorry that's a bad play design putting a player in a position to fail. Almost like putting Chism in a DT
