Some do. Value is when you don’t have confidence in your guy. Need a guy who will make big ppays in big games. Mac has not shown he’s that guy.

Good point. Maybe Mills, Heinicke, Bridgewater? Take all over Zappe.

Only win of the season was the only game the Pats got it going on the ground. If they can’t move the ball on the ground they lose the game and officially jump into the Caleb Williams derby.

It would be nice for the defense to force a turnover or two.

Agreed.. TOs on D are sorely lacking this season.. where has Dugger been? Last season he was a ball hawk..

Yeah... I like KB too I think it's he's a high energy guy. But to your point he's ok Nothing special. I swear Douglas needs to get involved more he's the only guy that can separate and do something.

Not sure what to think about all these separation stats except that resigning Parker continues to be mind numbing. Hoping DP's on the upswing, as he looks like he's getting open, but the QB's just not getting it there in time or at all.

Pats need to get rid of Parker if he continues to underperform I'm on the fence about DP. Bourne had a nice game Week 1 with DP out and JS on a pitch count. Mac still got 316yds.

Hmmm.. they just signed him to a new deal. But I heard the contract is easy to get out of. I'm not out on juju just yet. He's not 100% . I'd rather him go on IR until he's right. Let Boutte and Douglas play more. The TEs are fine... if we can get them the ball.

Yeah, maybe. Good list. The point is that NFL teams don't have backups that could be #1s. Only in the rare case a top draft pick, or the GOAT in the 6th round, is selected and sits a year. Jimmy G was one. It is rare. Not something the Pats need to worry about right now.

Who knows with this collection of stiffs? They play Anti-complementary football, so it's hard to tell if the passing game is holding back the running game or vice versa... I think they ALL suck: grocery-shoppers, coaches, linemen, receivers, and quarterback.

Saints are pretty much a mirror match for the Patriots. It's a battle of the sucky offenses versus the pretty good defenses.

We'll just have to wait and see which QB wets the bed worse, Mac Jones or Derek Carr.

Either way I don't expect to see a lot of points scored by either of these tepid offenses. Might be one of those defensive struggles. BB tends to come out on top of those, well unless Mac Jones gifts the defense another 14 points! LOL
