We play the Bills in 20 hrs, how do we have 8 other threads with more recent activity, including the "Bill Megathread".
Come on boys, where are our priorities

From Reiss,
"That had Vrabel reminiscing about Harrison's influence in New England, where he was a two-time Super Bowl champion (2003, 2008)."

I think that was supposed to be 04. At least they didn't put 07.

Rare mistake from Reiss his editor probably isn't old enough to even know lol.

PS he fixed it already. Looks like we was thinking about playing years 03-08.

So true, after Rodney came to NE the whole team got more of that refuse to lose vibe. I recall when the Pats picked Harrison up at Logan they were driving an ordinary Ford Taurus and Harrison stated "This is my kind of place." No fancy ride trying to impress people.

Ford Taurus from the airport, and dinner at the Ground Round.

Amazing story.

I have no idea what to expect tonight.
I have zero expectations.
Anything positive even in multiple score loss, are all positives we can build towards.

I will be disappointed if they get blown out, and it's not because they had 5 turnovers again.

I really don't think Buffalo is that good, they shouldn't be blowing this team out from what we've seen so far.

Ball security will be key. If Rham, especially, backslides it will be a blowout loss; if he stays focused I expect a close battle.

It would be poetic for Diggs to have a big game. Who’s their best CB? Benford? Hopefully, that game last week instilled some confidence, continuity & momentum within the team/organization. Ever so often, it’s wins like that, which can jumpstart a young team’s incline to learning how to win consistently. Now, a win tonight in Buffalo would obviously be a statement win & teach the team how to win against upper echelon opponents in tough environments. Buffalo isn’t a dominant team by any means, but their QB is & they know how to win. That being said, IF we lose, I would expect something like 31-21 or 31-24; not a blowout because they weren’t blowing us out last year when we were a bottom 4 team. If we win…….all I’ll say is that it’s gonna be a great week to listen/read about the progress of our young, ascending QB/team. We must stop the run (Cook & Allen), try to take away the middle of the field (mainly Shakir, Kincaid & Knox) & protect the football. Any week would be a week for superb special teams play, but another performance from Jones tonight IN Buffalo would damn near cause nocturnal emissions. Just win baby….

There are reasons for hope.

The Pats played the Bills surprisingly closely last year, despite allowing Cook to run right through them for a touchdown and the spectacularly boneheaded dropped lateral that ended as a defensive touchdown (I still don't know what they were even trying to do).

It goes without saying that they can't afford pre-snap penalties or fumbles tonight.

But the other thing that concerns me is this.

The Bills line up offsides and jump the snap time and again. With McDermott shouting at the refs whenever a call goes against him, they get away with it more than they should. It's hard for a young QB to deal with in a hostile stadium. I hope that Vrabel and McD have given this thought and have ideas for a counter.

I really don't think Buffalo is that good
Based on DVOA, they are number one in rushing and number three in passing. Massive OL and great RB in Cook and now a mature QB that takes what is given instead of trying to play hero ball all the time. He'll pick you apart in zone and run over you in man.
Their defense, on the other hand, is not good at all.
Take the Over (49.5 when last I looked).

Captain, i was just reading how good the jills offense is and i thought how the hell are we going to beat buffalo. Than i remembered many games like this under both parcells and belichick were beating the other team seem almost impossible but somehow we did. Bothe parcells and BB came up with winning game planes. Just a couple of years ago we beat buffalo in buffalo with jones only throwing six passes. I'm not worried about the pats offense they have mcdaniels, i'm worried about the defense and stopping buffalos running game. I don't expect to win tomorrow night, but i wouldn't be shocked if we do. We'll see if vrable can carry the mantal of past pats coaches
Yeah I cant remember the particular games but I remember two that felt impossible to win I think because of injuries and was doom and gloom the week before on the talk shows. One was at home vs Peyton Manning and the other at Pittsburgh, both with Bellichick.

I believe Brown will play since he’s practiced at times this week.
