NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 5 NFL games discussion

In reality, there’s plenty of blame to go around for that. Find a medium, TV, radio, podcast, Internet, with an ex-QB, and they’ll tell you there are always coaches in your headset reminding you of down, distance, situation, etc. That said, blame also has to fall on Brady’s old ass as well for pulling a JR Smith. How the hell do you not already know what down it is? No matter what direction you’re in, you can see that on the video board and (for most stadiums anyway) against the far wall.

The Tampa idiocy is rubbing off on Brady. He spent too much time having fun this off season and not enough time in his rule book.

LOL, Skip Bayless thinks Brady had a concussion on the last drive that cause him to forget what down it was...

Was thinking the same thing. As somebody as anal and a perfectionist as Brady is, going from Bill to Arians must be kiling him.

I thought Brady played decent.

It’s clear as day he’s going to miss Belichick if he doesn’t already. Thats as undisciplined a team as I’ve ever seen. The mistake at the end was on the coaching as much as Brady.

It kills me watching Bucs games and wanting Brady to win, that's for sure.

Love to watch these guys they are fun but Skip sometimes comes up with some weird excuses for player he likes

Funny how Skip is such a Tompa fanboy now - and yet he was the author of this article just before the Pats beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl. Wasn't sold on Brady at all and didn't think Belichick was all that. LOL

Time of possession is currently up from last year. Keeping opposing offenses off the field matters too.

Yeah, not surprised by this. That's the way this team is built. Even more so than last year with cam here. Run first, keep the ball out of the other teams hands as much as possible and keep the score down. That's the best way for this team to win.

gotta play to our strengths on offense which is our rbs and OL.

I saw that.. I think it was out of habit- since he's so used to McD giving him detailed info. Not to mention the game was on the line and he was very focused on other things.

I think he'll be verifying for himself from now on.

Tom had plenty of chances to take over that game but didn't. But that one drive where they had so many penalties driving them back 30 yards was pretty bad.

The exact type of football that BB avoids. Dont beat yourself. Dont turn the ball over. Do your job.

Penalty is meaningless - immediate ejection and suspension for the next game would be taken seriously.

Brady didn’t shake Foles hand again lol

I understand it but not a great look. I would have done it to shut the critics up from last time.

That makes you a slave to their game.

So I only had the game on in the background. I thought Brady played fine, missed a few throws while getting hit. Did Brady have a bad game only because of that 4th and 5 blunder? What were these bad penalties? What did I miss?

It rained yellow in the second half. Refs bailed out the Bears game winning drive, not once but TWICE.

Ah! I missed that part! I'll check it out. Thanks!

Besides the undisciplined play by the OL, Brady the statue was an overriding issue last night. Under extreme pressure all night with no quick release options to unload the ball before getting impaled.... and no wheels to escape the pressure.
Fournette and his pass catching skills were missed last night.
Interesting to me was how Tampa chose to release their TEs into pass patterns instead of using them as blockers to assist their overmatched tackles.
Bombs-away Arians is stubborn
