He was such a good blocking back coming out, like one of if not the best in years. I think he just had a bad game. It happens, he’ll be better.
Lazar was thinking that it's probably mental errors from adapting to McD's system.

DK Metcalf tore the Pats a new one last year.

Lazar is right. During preseason games I can't tell you how impressed I was with Henderson's pass protection. When he took on rushers, he looked exactly like a miniature LT in form and position.

Any errors he's made are going to be about recognition and assignment and I imagine there will be a few where the rusher will simply be better on that play as well. THAT happens to everyone.

pass protection issues and Henderson were not 2 things I thought that would be associated together, but here we are. All in the soup that goes into the making of a reliable NFL RB.

We cannot underestimate the importance of the TIME it takes to fully integrate a new NFL offense for the 25 odd guys that have to make it happen. Some of those benefits we won't see until next year and beyond.

He shouldn't this year if they double him.
And if I remember correctly his long TD was on a blitz with busted coverage. I would hope and think that doesn’t happen again.

Smith Njigba was doing a number on us on. The other side too. I don't think Pittsburgh is very accomplished after Metcalf. Calvin Austin III is pretty decent I guess speed guy.

Although he might need a ramp-up period, getting Gonzalez back would be huge. This week, New England will face 41-year-old QB Aaron Rodgers and a Steelers offense that features star receiver DK Metcalf, dynamic route-runner Calvin Austin, and several pass-catching tight ends. From this perspective, it might make sense for Gonzalez to re-acclimate to game speed by being in specific defensive packages or playing on third downs, giving him 20 snaps or so to make an impact on the game while also understanding that he hasn't played much football from a conditioning standpoint since injuring his hamstring in late July. Again, even if he's more limited snap count-wise than usual, Gonzalez playing in any capacity could help the Patriots defense immensely.

So both Steelers Tackles suck like both ours last year. Not shocked to see corpse Moses there.
I’m actually a bit surprised Moses is there. He’s 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.0 times better then Jacobs. I’ve got no issues with Moses….leader of men.

Ok Zuma we get it.

Moses has had a couple of big-time matchups early on. Eye test tells me he's doing all right. Not great, but all right.

Glad I saw this, changes what I’m wearing to the game. LOL!

Its crazy to me that an OT can win 3 out 4 (75%) pass rush blocks and be in the bottom tier.

Also crazy is that I see a number of players that people on this board wanted us to draft (Banks, Simmons, Fuaga, Fautanu) Not implying they are bad players just that maybe our front office knows more than we think.

Thank you Bobby for swapping out those awful uniforms for the retro's. I don't know how anyone else can take looking at their current uniforms on a weekly basis.

Even the best DEs only win a quarter of the time. Danielle Hunter had the highest outside pressure rate last year at 26%. So if your OT is losing once ever my 4 reps, that’s kinda like playing against the very best outside DE every week.

It’s hard to sack the QB. Hell 15 sacks is a great year, and how many rush attempts does it take a DE to get that, 300-400?.

Broderick Jones now there’s a OT that was hyped big time after he won a natty and hasn’t lived up to it. Even Tomlin called him out for poor play.

Long arms too.

Hmmmmmmmm.

And we let Pitt trade up with us for him, and we got Gonzo. Bet they would like a redo on that one

Yea it is crazy to me that OLmen win much more often than DLmen, partly due to the time the QB gets the ball out of their hands, but a DL that wins much less the the OL but gets 10 sacks is considered a stud and the OL that gives up 10 sacks is considered garbage.

I understand the reasoning, its just funny to me.
