We should definitely fire Mayo and Covington because Bentley and Barmore are on IR and Wolf acquired no one to help the run defense.

Don’t see a pregame thread open so I’ll start one.

Gonna be awfully noisy around these parts if McConkey has a big game against us. Whatever the reason was for saying no to picking him whether it’s a good reason or not- results matter (69/960 5 Td vs Polk’s um less than that) and boy was this a miss.

Does gonzo take Mconkey?

At first I thought that the short week plus the West Coast to East Coast trip plus the early start would give the Chargers issues and keep this a lower output game for them…

…but then I remembered that the Chargers actually played on Thursday last week, so they had a LONG week. This means the Chargers are coming off of a mini-bye while the Pats are playing on a short week. That’s not good for the Pats. The Chargers also flew in on Thursday afternoon so they are acclimated already.

And finally they activated JK Dobbins from IR yesterday, while the Pats placed Marcus Jones on IR.

Not a great outlook.

Actually, Cincy gave that gave away. I remember two TD's they missed out on. One the TE lost the ball the last step before the end zone. I don't remember the circumstances of the 2nd one. They clearly should have won but shot themselves in the ---.

Your right. They did catch some breaks that game. But the difference in that game is the defense played stout and with pride they haven't shown that since. Even with guys out past patriots defensive units would get better as the season goes on. They have gotten worse. No pass rush has hampered them especially in the secondary.. gonzo is an all pro. Everyone else is up for debate.
