Harbaugh all about grinding you down with the run. Everyone thought the Bills game was going to be the blowout (and rightly so) but I actually think there’s a chance this might turn out to be the blowout game. I don’t like anything about the matchup on both sides of the ball.

You are not being fair. We got Polk AND Baker instead of McConkey. See, now you feel better about that draft day trade.

And just to make you feel even better: we didn't even get additional picks. We sent 2 picks and got 2 picks, moving down in R2 while moving up on day 3.

Oh and the CB they chose with our day 3 pick is starting and doing very well. They absolutely crushed it with our original picks.

Dobbins being back is not good for the Pats chances.
Very good for the Chargers playoff push.
Very good for draft pick position.
I would add another 10 points to the total if he plays at least. He is the player that really makes their offense work.

How on earth did the Chargers only score 6 last season against us and the Pats got shut out by their defense, the worst defense in the league. Yikes

as a proponent of getting the lowest draft pick available (so we can trade down to 6th and give it to the Giants for a bag) I worry about this game. It has a lot of bad elements for this team. Teams travelling from the west coast to the east coast usually have problems. And while it's going to be in the high 30's, that's still cold for a southern Cal team coming to NE. Then you add how easy it will be to overlook us and you are likely going to get a game that will be relatively close.

It hasn't been talked about much, but we are CONSTANTLY losing the TO battle and it has cost us a few games. But maybe this is the week where a deflected pass finds its way into OUR hands instead of hitting the ground, or fumbling and NOT recovering their own fumble, I can see us winning this game. Check out the teams who have all clinched PO berths. THEY are the teams who are consistently winning the TO battle. I'm not sure of the stats, but I can't think of a game this year when we won that particular battle.

ALL of our good teams were at the top of the league in the plus/minus of that particular stat.

ESPN predicted a shut out for the Chargers earlier in the week. There is no way in hell we don't score, even if it's only 10-16 points. Chargers D has been terrible against any offence with a pulse. No idea how anyone could predict a goose egg for the Pats.
