Don’t see a pregame thread open so I’ll start one.

Gonna be awfully noisy around these parts if McConkey has a big game against us. Whatever the reason was for saying no to picking him whether it’s a good reason or not- results matter (69/960 5 Td vs Polk’s um less than that) and boy was this a miss.

Interesting that the Chargers have the #2 scoring defense in the league but that’s not backed up by their other metrics. A lot of meh across the board. Haven’t watched them enough to know for sure but their metrics suggest a classic bend don’t break approach?

Lots of opportunities for mistakes. Bosa and Mack could have a field day against this line, however I don't know if it'll show in sack count. Crazy that Mack and Bosa combine for 10 sacks but they have a team total of 43. I'd assume they creatively generate pressure as their totals are pretty widely spread out. Very reminiscent of late Matt P. defenses/Flores.

Would be interesting to know who they would have picked if both were on the board.

I think it's easy to assume that both being on the board and them thinking they could trade and still get one of them was part of the logic.

Obviously wish they hadn't done it that way now or just wish the Chargers went Polk instead.

Their defense hasn't played any capable offenses this year aside from Baltimore (allowed 30 points), Tampa Bay (40), Cincy (27) and just gave up 27 to Denver. They are cracking and would be lucky to make it to the divisional round.
