The report that he has a pulse but was not breathing on his own seems unfortunately consistent with this concern.The biggest concern right now is neurological function even if he now has a pulse. Unfortunately, if he was down for 20 minutes without a pulse, he mostly likely has a massive brain ischemic injury from lack of oxygen going to his brain during the time he was pulseless.
