The 2018 Patriots were every bit as bad as the Chiefs were today at times, slapped by 5 & 6 win Detroit and Jacksonville and lost by 24 to a Titans team who didn't make the playoffs so i'm not ruling out the Chiefs suddenly getting it right.

Almost everyone was talking about the Patriots like they are the Chiefs going into that Chargers game in the Divisional Round and we all know how that ended.

Now that the chiefs cant get a first round bye im not nearly as worried. Its hard to see that team beating 4 straight elite teams, 3 woulda been somewhat achievable especially if the refs got involved like last year. I don’t know whos going to do it because im not super impressed with any afc teams but somebody will knock them off

Will Chiefs even play to win at this point? They’re basically locked in as #3 seed. Could possibly get #2 if Miami loses out but might not be worth risking for that limited upside.

Yeah, in that scenario actually a shame we beat Denver now. 8-7 broncos up against 9-6 chiefs with an easier remaining schedule for Denver, would've been a nice way to knock Mahomes out the playoffs completely.
