Anybody have information on Amendola? He's on the DNP list, but that's a lot better than IR. Anybody have an update on where things stand? Thanks.

No official word of course, but he was reported to have a high ankle sprain which would mean 4-6 weeks depending on severity. No IR means he is expected back, probably for the first playoff game.

On top of that, I recall either McDonough or Gruden mentioning on MNF that they talked to Belichick and he said that it's not necessarily the playoff game, it's possible he could be ready before that. This is what happens when Belichick is interviewed by people he respects; he'll give a tad more info without it being harmful to the team.

That said, if they have playoff seeding locked up, IMO I doubt we'd see Amendola before the playoff game.

On that note, forecast for Sunday in Denver calls for sunny skies but a high temperature of 29 degrees, not much wind. The Pats will probably be practicing in worse weather today and tomorrow.

Gotta love Mitchell's huge hands -- 10 1/2inches, nearly as big as Gronk's. IMO that's an undervalued trait in receivers (and QBs, for that matter).

If everything is locked up before the last game, they can put Cyrus Jones out there against Miami to field as many punts and kickoffs as he needs to regain his confidence.
