THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Panthers are going undefeated

Newtie has taken his game to another level. He's a BEAST now.

And the picture shows that contact was initiated PRIOR to the one yard.. What is so hard for you to understand?
Ugh, come on now take of the Patriots glasses ok. I watched the reply, 82 extended his arms, it's clear. I'm not arguing with you about it anymore. Whatever.

I think the Chung hit looked worse than it was, honestly.. What I found interesting is that when they panned across him, he was grabbing his right hamstring.. Yet they said it was a rib injury..

[Globe]It's my legggggggg[/Trotters]

Well they will be going undefeated
If we are no longer in the tournament, I will root for them to go all the way. Cam has been through a lot, the insults before the draft was the lowest I had seen in people who could not see the racist undertone festering their diatribe.

An undefeated Panthers team with the NFL MVP (Newton) playing the defending Super Bowl champion Patriots (with 3-time Super Bowl MVP Brady) in Super Bowl 50 would be just an unbelievable story with the greatest hype you've ever seen.

Hope the balls weigh enough.

Would be happy to get that amazingly overrated team in the big game.

Lol...I still don't understand why people are scared of Pittsburgh or the Giants.

Eta: cam won the mvp 2 weeks ago. The media has made sure of it.

There are no Patriots homer glasses here. Just dealing in fact. Fact is that even if Martin engaged first, it occurred PRIOR to the 1 yard past the LOS. The picture SHOWS that. Martin extending his arms occurs AFTER contact and has no bearing on the rule. So, it's NOT OPI by the rule you quoted. If you can't suck it up and deal with that, then why are you here? It's certainly not to talk about what happened if you aren't willing to admit the truth of what happened..

It's a **** rule but it's there.

You mean in the rule book? I haven't read the rule, so I don't know. I have been watching football almost since the Pats have existed and I've never seen receivers stymied 2 feet from the line of scrimmage, dancing back and forth lest they might touch a defender.

So, how do you know exactly how the rule reads, I'm curious.

MVP awards mean nothing, give me a Lombardi any day of the week.
How often does the MVP win the Superbowl? I'd rather win the Superbowl. Look at all the good Peyton's MVP awards did him

How are they "overrated"? Nobody is suggesting they're among the greatest teams of all time. They are 14-0 with one of the best offenses (statistically) and one of the best defenses (statistically) in the NFL.

I mean, I'd be happy to get them too, because it means the Patriots are once again in the Super Bowl. But that would not be an easy game for the Pats. At all.

The league on its own is bad this year. Overrated or not , its a big achievement and they will be favored to go to the SB. They are playing well when they need to and making plays enough to win.
Pats of 2003 and 04 were called the same. "Overrated team which doesnt make mistakes" .People were dumbfounded how we can win with 'scrubs' and no HOF players "They play as a team". All these back handed compliments. The reason people pin all those wins on spygate etc. Now we do the same with the panthers - "overrated, havent beaten anyone, game manager QB" etc etc.

Pitt just recovered a Denver fumble !

Brady's game fell off a cliff since the Miami game and cam has been playing out of his mind

pitt up 7-0 on Denver!!!!
