I dunno about that. Houston might make Jones piss his pants...plus he has a broken leg.
I mean, there's a pretty good chance Indianapolis is able to run the ball anyway despite how good the Texans defense is, we'll see.

We're winning this game in spectacular fashion.

We haven’t beat hardly anyone in spectacular fashion. I don’t think our roster is good enough to do that even at full strength, which we are not. Have to have solid OL play to put up a lot of points.

Tomorrow the Patriots are playing on Monday Night Football hosting the Giants at Gillette.

They must win to maintain their lead in contention for the first round bye, then they have their own bye to rest, recuperate, recharge and focus for a bitter battle against an angry Bills team.

Every game now is a chance to continue to overcome obstacles and adversity, and make the plays needed to win.

LFG

All ANY team can possibly do each week is try and go 1-0. That-s it. Really, any thing else and you are complicating it. And a coaches main job is simplify complex concepts as best you can because the less a player thinks and the more he reacts...the better he plays.

It is a simple concept to say and yet SOOOOOOO difficult to put into action. That's why so many coaching jobs are open each year on every level. Because every thinks it's easy.

Which Drake will show up Monday? Early Cincy game put a chill in my spine watching him airmail some Early passes. Now with Brown and Lowe I can understand the stress he's has inside for Pressure from the blind side.

According to Pro Football Reference
We only blitz at 0.1% rate higher than the Giants. 21.6% to 21.5%
Giants have 86 pressures on the season. We have 83.
Giants have 25 hurries on the season. We have 26
Pressure (Hurries+Knockdowns+Sacks) % on dropbacks: Pats 18.9%. Giants 18.1%

As for Brian Burns having 13. Their #2 player in sacks is 1 of their DTs with 3 sacks. So this simply points to the fact we have a tad more balance and the bulk of their sacks is from 1 guy.
Burns has 21 QB hits on the season. Landry has 16, Chaisson has 13

If we have no pass rush then by the metrics/stats based on the info I got the Giants have no pass rush. I'm not saying this means anything as far as the game goes but it really seems like people just look that they have Burns Carter and Lawrence and assume. BTW Lawrence has a 11.8% missed tackle rate this year. Now obviously they might get a boost because we are playing 2 backups on the left side but that's why there are coaches and game plans.
The problem is that most fans want a pressure/sack every drop back and that is not realistic. Our pass rush is decent, not great but not **** like several of our fans like to say

It’s not always how many, it’s about when.
When we have a team in 3rd and long, obv passing situation, that’s when you need to pressure the QB and get off the field. We have not been good at that. Maybe the numbers say differently, I don’t know.

Quick question: what's the over/under on how many times they will show or mention the SB42 ******** during the game? Anyone looking to take a drink/shot every time they do?

With all the upsets over the weekend, expecting that kind of talk to creep into the pregame and early game coverage in the reasonable likelihood that the NJ Gints score the first TD.

Good news
Figured out where I can watch this game on BSPN...
