That always annoyed me. I mean, it was a great catch. But no WR in the history of the league ever got so much credit for a great catch for so long. It was like, after he couldn't have a HOF career due to injury and other things so people thought 'let's keep pumping up his catch endlessly'. When in reality you get maybe 20 about catches of that level a year. Hell sometimes you get two a game like in the Falcons/Pats super bowl.
For instance, that great one handed catch Gronk had vs I think it was Denver in the regular season in 2014. No one really talks about it outside the occasional Patriot fans post. And that is cause Gronk had a HOF career. We don't need to endless relive any of his amazing catches, which i am sure he made a few of over the years. Odell however, all he will ever have is that catch. So it will be built up endlessly as a tribute to what could have been.
