The Pats need to move on from Bill. They need to get a head coach who will put his QB in a position to succeed. The complete implosion of Mac Jones was in part because of Belichick doing everything possible to destroy the guy. I don't want him to do that to another QB. I want someone who will nurture the QB.

But I am not advocating to draft a QB just to draft a QB in the top 2. If they think Williams or Maye is an absolute stud and a near guarantee top QB, then yes. But to draft a QB just to draft one, I say trade down and get multiple first round picks.

I agree. It is entirely possible that given the hierarchy of picks, the needs of those teams, and so forth, we might find that the best option would be a player at one of our many other positions of need. Maybe take MH Jr., then one of the other qb prospects a bit later. Or get a great OT. The short version is that we do not yet know enough to anticipate what we are likely to do. We do not yet even have the full measure of information on the prospective draftees we will have by the end of the college season.

Honestly at this point, what would it hurt to throw in Cunningham? It's not like we stand any chance of making the playoffs! At least it would be more fun than watching paint dry or watching Mac Jones throw yet another "Mac-Ception"!

This team is laying a goose egg for the rest of the season. We could literally pull a fan out of the stands before each game to be our QB and not fare worse than what we do now with the 2 clowns we currently put under center.

The Patriots don’t need to tank. We are the worst team in the NFL. I’ll be surprised if we win any of our remaining games.

Today should be the final proof that we need to come out of the draft with Williams or Maye.

That’s the sad and funny part both at the same time..we’re so bad right now that we don’t even need to tank to secure a top 3 pick. We just need to keep playing to our capabilities and it’ll be a forgone conclusion.
