What's puzzling is teams have everything available to them when drafting guys these days.. scouting departments go back to HS on these guys. I will continue to say this.. when an organization has stability at the most important position in football for so long it's easy for a GM to shrug his shoulders on drafting bust after bust.
Good luck to you guys today bud!

Drafting well is crucial, and there is no question NE’s has had some issues in that dept in recent years. It’s put the franchise in a tough spot and it’ll take a few good years to get back on track.

That said, posters here have no idea how to draft. If they did, instead of crying on the www, they’d be employed by an NFL franchise. Lots & lots of dismissing how difficult it is to choose the right player and the variables are so pronounced that many ‘sure things’ have fizzled. The internet has made many people believe crazy things. One of them is that regular folks could run an NFL franchise.
Not to rehash old news but bad drafting no matter who the status of a GM is cam set a team back for seasons. The reason KC is able to compete year in and out while loosing guys on thier roster has been the drafting. Drafting is huge for every organization.

Big test for our defense, we’ll get a better idea if theyve truly turned a corner. Obviously not going to duplicate what happened in Chicago, but if they can hold this offense to 20 pts and give the offense a fair chance it will be another positive.
Are both Christian Barmore and Yannick Ngakoue playing today? If those two guys can play just 25% ofthe defensive snaps, this team will be better on defense. And why has Ngakoue bounced all over the league?

Im reading that barmore will play. Ngakoue im not sure but im thinking he will as wise hasn’t practiced

Maye looks like he was the right call.

But, we really need to wait until year # 2 to have a better sense if he really is the guy.
He's the guy. Put an above average offensive line in front of him, and the Patriots are competitive. Hopefully we see the same starting OL as the last two weeks out there to continue the progress in both the rushing and passing games against a so-so Rams defense.

This one could be more of a shootout that we are used to.

Going on a run meaning win more than 1 game it's what I'm saying.. the whole objective is to be a better team at the end of the season than you were in September. Like I said I optimistic however if the Rams come in here play bully ball and Marcus Jones is getting mossed then that optimism will quickly fade.
The Rams WRs are route runners, not speedsters, so Marcus being a fast guy will have time to adjust. I like fast CBs on slower WRs, as opposed to slower CBs (Joejuan Williams) on fast WRs. I like our secondary today.

Can the DL create any pressure? Yannick was released because he is not the same guy. Barmore is not up to speed yet. We will see.

Joejuan Williams who can forget how bad he was! You said it! It's on the DL at this stage in the season they pretty much need to use every one healthy on the DL to create pressure.. I doubt Yannick or Barmore will be playing high snaps today. But yes the Rams guys are route runners not speed demons. I'm thinking double Nacua and gonzo on Cupp. I'm hoping they can pull it out!

Is today the day Baker heals the crippled and lame?

Looks like Osborne was holding the spot behind TT on the conveyor belt out the door...

Is Dugger truly an upgrade it’s starting to look like an overpay for him.
Wise not being there hurts a bit.
He is.. he's just beeb in and out the line up this season for various ailments. Dugger is a beast around the LOS.. let Pettus and Hawkins roam deep. Really impressed with Pettus... I'd like to see Yannick pressure off the edge.. yes loosing wise sucks

What's the deal with Wise? I think he was helped off the field last game but then nothing further was said that I saw.

Barmore and dugger playing. First look at ngakoe. Osborn out, almost as good news as the first 2 lol

No Mapu or Wise, but Dugger and Ngakoue replace them. Barmore also is a big time upgrade over Roy. It would be nice to have all of them available though.

Stafford will be very susceptible to interior pressure, and their OL hasn’t been that good. Let’s hope Barmore has a nice game right away, he has a prime opportunity.
