Check down Coby sounds just about right poor Tyquan Thornton.

V Lowe was back practicing yesterday he should be a go on Sunday. Can't wait to see the Hollywood shuffle along the OL.
He will be moon walking like Mike Jackson.

Almost like a preview of our GDT's with Jacoby.

Those reviews sound pretty fair. Unfortunately the preseason he played even worse than expected. Hopefully does better in the games that matter. The short yardage point could actually be an underrated benefit of jacoby too for a team where every first down matters haha. Brady was obviously great at it, Cam was pretty good at it too and since then we have really sucked in short yardage.

I mentioned this before. This offense is similar to the 2017 jags. A good running game, decent WRs..subpar QB and good defense. That team almost beat us in the AFCCG.

If... just if... they can get 4 to 5 yards on first down and stay in 3rd and short they can go on long drives and keep opposing offenses on the sidelines and allowing the defense to rest.

It all depends on the OL. We need good health and one of chuks/wallace to stabilize rt so our interior can shine. We’ll probably have to scheme a bit to cover up LT though

Your right. Matter who lines up Sunday. They need to establish the rock. Running the ball alleviates the pressure off the line and opens up the offense. Once you bring the safety down to help against the run.. your winning on offense.

AVP called him a stud! If AVP remotely believes that fire him today.

He is what he is, a journeyman backup that plays very conservative football in an age nobody wins with conservative football.

Probably the most accurate assessment from that thread:

Pros: arm strength, QB sneaks

Cons: everything else

Decision making is poor, timing is poor, accuracy is poor, is not mobile even though people think he is for some reason, 6.4 career yards/attempt, never had a 200+ yards per game season average, has learned from Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, and Philip Rivers but never really improved so he is at his ceiling, it's going to be ugly.

Saw that too #1 Overall here we come we will win Draft Day.

Speaking of the dev it sounds like lowe is trending towards suiting up Sunday while sow is most likely out. Lowe - leverett - andrews - onwenu - chuks would be my guess.

His decision making has gotten better in time, but the accuracy has never really gotten to a plus level. But, you're picking at the very back of the 3rd round to get him, and the scouting report was dead on - backup/spot-starter ceiling.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that's light years better than the dogshit we had back there last year.

Agreed. I've also said it's important for Brissett to play well this season.. as say he has a geno Smith type season. He could see a nice contract from a team. The QB position last season was just abysmal.

Let's hope this can be our line-up.
I really hope they move Onwenu back in to RG.
And, I'd almost rather try Robinson at LG than Leverett.
And, it seems better to have Chuks just establish at RT, then try to switch back and forth so much.
Let Jacobs be the backup LT - because it's more important to develop guys for a longer season, than merely patching by ruining technique for the short term plugs.
