Thanks, Tunescribe.

Though I won't be needing these this year. The NFL is not getting my ratings. I'm streaming everything.

We're getting Miami/Washington and Baltimore/Denver.

Not too bad.

Surprised how much of the nations getting KC/Houston (including me) instead of Indy/Buffalo

Green Bay/Chicago and Denver/Baltimore as the other games I'm getting. Not bad but could be better

I'm fairly sure that's not how it works. You can watch every single game you want as long as you are not one of the households that has chosen to be a representative sample of the general population's Nielsen TV ratings.

"To find out who is watching TV and what they are watching, the company gets households to agree to be a part of the representative sample for the national ratings estimates...To find out what people are watching, meters installed in the selected sample of homes track when TV sets are on and what channels they are tuned to. A "black box," which is just a computer and modem, gathers and sends all this information to the company's central computer every night. "

I hate the NFL right now too. But I also hate the terrible quality online streams and would not want to wish my fellow Pats fans that unnecessary evil.

Go Pats.

I'm likely going to stream every Houston game that does not conflict with NE's games this year. I'm very interested to see what O'Brien is doing down there. I would like to see them make the playoffs, and I think they have a decent shot.

Thanks for enlightening me. I just throw those things away when I get them in the mail. LOL

And yeah, the streams are pretty bad. I have a confession. I also don't have cable, so I kind of have to stream anyway. LOL

Most of the cable providers in Canada offer free NFL Sunday ticket for week 1 as has been the norm for several years now.

Good games in NE tomorrow. I would expect Rex to run The ball right down their throat. Does Manning have a decent OL or any arm strength?

Best news is we don't have to watch CLE/NYJ!

What an utter waste of electrons!
No kidding. The Green Beans will win and that whole stadium will be in a frenzy as fans can't wait to get home and make Super Bowl reservations.

No interest in any one game, if I'm watching anything it will be the red zone channel.

Let's go Cleveland, Washington and Tie (dolts and jills)

Denver will be better than last yr I think . They will go back to the stretch running play they ran with edgerrin james way back when with kubiak's zone blocking . Lot of running ,protecting manning. Their defense could also be could.

I broke down tofu and order Sunday ticket.

I'll be watching 8 games at once

ugh, CT gets stuck with the ****ing jets game snoozefest

I live on Long Guyland... two things... the late game we get New Orleans/Arizona?!?!

Also, if Cleveland beats the Jets, I'll post the video of my brother in law's head exploding.

You are right. Back around 1990, we were asked by Nielsen to be one of about one thousand families to have a box attached to our TV set to record our viewing habits. Although we watch little television, my wife agreed to the inconvenience (you had to push a button on the box each time you viewed a program) so that her favorite show, Star Trek, the Next Generation, would stay on the air. In reality, the viewing habits of one family, even one with a box, had no effect on ratings with the exception of local market, very late night, early morning shows such as the fictional Wayne's World.

Weirdly, living in Canada gives you access to watching tonnes of games. CTV feeds from East to West allow for many options. As do 5 TSN feeds.
