OR, is he a genius? Maybe his former team says, "Well, we were going to change all our calls, but now we don't have to because Weddle said he wouldn't give them away..." and he gets out on the field on Sunday and says, "Psych! I had my fingers crossed when I said that!"

Seems dumb to be honest. They cut him. LA is paying his salary now, why would you not want to help your current team?

Especially since they're not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, where anything can happen.
