About average seems about right for the first half, given who we had playing. That would mean that we are better than average now that Gronk and Amendola are playing, Collie has been added, and Dobson & Thompkins have had a half year of experience.

Obviously, the question is how the offense will look in the playoffs.

Improvement.

It's a downgrade from the #1 offense in the entire NFL. But it's an upgrade from the previous ranking of #28 or something terrible like that. Baby steps!

Over the first 8 games - that's exactly what we have had. There have been good moments and horrible moments with this offense. Hopefully it matures to above average during the second half, and unstoppable by the playoffs.

The defense is allowing 18 ppg - 7th in the NFL.

I swear this fan base is the most spoiled..were too used to the fantasy numbers. But all we heard from the fans those years was how we had "become the colts" and how we needed defense to win

Now, we are winning with defense and are 6-2 yet fans are crying because we aren'tputting up the fantasy numbers

Gronk played 33 snaps yesterday and amendola 39..that's almost 50% they weren'ton the field

Once fully in game shape gronk should be out there most of the snaps which will greatly improve theoffense. Amendola as well..not to mention vereen is coming back

I still think this offense will be good come December and January. It won't be great. The defense, on the other hand, could be great in December and January.

Considering how our offense is playing, I really don't know how we scored 27 points two weeks in a row. I've seen teams with great defenses/horrible offenses struggle to put 10 points on the board but not us.
