I figure the personnel dept has decided that they like all 3 of Williams, Maye and Daniels well enough to take them at 3 so they will take who is there.
Should've kept it to himself tho
Rookie move, need the Art of war.Should've kept it to himself tho
Throwing that out there doesn't sound like Patriots
If they like all 3 QBs then what is another team gonna do by knowing they’re taking a QB? Only 2 spots ahead of them so one is guaranteed to be there.Should've kept it to himself tho
I don’t think Mayo is at that level yet where he’s playing games. No offense to him. He was barely catching himself from saying “quarterback” itself here. I don’t think he is capable of subversion like that at this stage, but probably will be eventually. He said best player at a position that is very important
He is playing with words. OT and WR are a position that is very important
QB is the MOST important position
They have not even had interviews or the combine
I think they are just worried about fixing their own ****. No time to worry about duping others. Being too preoccupied with that is part of the reason the roster is the way it is now.Hoping this is a diversionary tactic and they trade down.
Burton specifically asked him what they’re gonna do with the 3rd pick in the draft, his answer was this. They will draft a qb but he didn’t say when. If the top 2 are gone, I could see someone making an offer we can’t refuse. What do the charts say #3 is worth?
Sorry I missed that. Of course Bob doesn’t know who will have final say yet…Burton specifically asked him what they’re gonna do with the 3rd pick in the draft, his answer was this.
This clip seems to suggest that either Mayo has final say, or Mayo and the personnel department have already come to a consensus on the pick.Sorry I missed that. But Bob doesn’t know who will have final say yet…
Kraft said today in response to that question that it is undecided. Why would he lie? What if they have Daniels as a second round pick? Just a lot of unknowns it seems. This clip seems to suggest that either Mayo has final say, or Mayo and the personnel department have already come to a consensus on the pick.
is it out of the question - if he has identified his target - that we would now trade up to secure the pick?I was also thinking about this being its own thread.
