We are not so bad yet if you compare around the league......

I have come to the conclusion after watching many games through season 2011, that it's going to be a strange one affected completely by the lockout. You may as well throw away defense for 2011.

I am beginning to believe the same.. this could be a record year for offenses.

For the pats to make a huge change on D with no off season at all.. seems to have had negative results and coupled with some key injuries it may prove to be the perfect storm.

OTOH lets see how they are playing in November..

Last week was not good by any means. But we hardly have it the worst. This tieam WILL get better. The offense can play better. And believe it or not so can the defense. I mean there's no where to go but up from here right?

We've all heard of wake up calls, well this was a major one. The Pats needed to wake up. And BB has got a truckload of material to work with. Sometimes it's not how much you win, it's how you recover from your losses that determines hwo good a team is gonna be. A boxer who has never been knocked down and known adversity doesn't know what it takes to get back up and punch back when backed into a corner.

Man up, Pats! This is the ifrst adversity this team has faced this season, and there will be more to come. Hopefully this negative experience will make them mentally tougher down the stretch.

Anyone watch the hot mess Steelers grapple with the mighty Collins/Painter led (and coached from above by Manning) Colts last evening... Tomlin always looks so incredulous when they suck it's comical... Last night **** LeBeau looked like he was going to stroke out at one point...

Even Baltimore is struggling because of Flacco's continued inconsistency.

Just would have been nice if we could have capitalized on all the chaos...but we appear to be part of it.

Again, the dream team and their counter part cowgirls seems to be in a much bigger mess than us

Like Tomlin as a coach and enjoy him going ballistic. The TV shots of the Colts coach remind me of Pete Carroll as the Patriots coach. Pete used to pace the sidelines mouth agape as if he's thinking "WTF??? These are MY guys?" while Caldwell is equally mystified, standing motionless with a empty gaze at the field.

I'm in wait and see mode..I think this is going to be a strange year where we expect the unexpected. Indy is going to be a non-factor. The Eagles appear to be overrated. The Bills may be decent. Alot of the younger or perennial losers got better this off-season. In the end I think the cream will end up rising to the top in the end once December comes. As for Bills, I think they will end up getting theirs regardless especially when they start playing deep into the season. IMO- despite the interceptions, they had the worst defense on the field yesterday.

Except the Packers who just keep winning although the defense was pretty bad the first two games.

The Packers have major question marks too, just like every other team in the NFL.
