Okay, am I hearing this right this season?

I am used to "down, set, hut (repeat as necessary)"

Now I am aware that now you have to call all sorts of extra stuff involving louie louie louie, Sally, Omaha, and things like that.

However all season I have been hearing quarterbacks shout "WASSUP." Oddly, it's usually right before the snap, like the by-now ancient "Hike!" This of course renders things particularly predictable, if in fact my memory is correct and that's what's been happening. Of course they are probably saying WASSUP several times, and I am just remembering the ones right before the snap. I dunno. My hearing is going. Is this actually happening? Why is this happening? Does anybody know any backstory about this happening? What the hell is going on here? Is this part of what Trump was complaining about? Get off my lawn! Sorry that last part was just reflex.

So what the hell? Anybody know?
