Was Zoltan Mesko worth the draft pick?

When we drafted this kid I assumed he was a sure-fire A+ punter, you'd have to be to even warrant a draft pick being used on your position.

I've not been impressed so far. Hasn't been horrible, but (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm going off what I've seen, haven't broke down the stats) hasn't been fantastic either.

I think that it is obvious that after 4 NFL punts the man is clearly a bust. Voted no.

So far I've liked his punts... that first punt at the Meadowlands was a beauty!!!!
52 yards from our own 42... I think the fair catch was at the 5 yard line and by the time ball got down to the Jets player we already had three guys there... unfortunately Arrington made a stupid mistake, but so far I'd say he has been performing pretty well... :rocker:

Spot on, we need to adress this ASAP... btw, is still Tom Brady the one in charge of the holding duties if Mesko could not do it due to injury?

This. Bruschi says the delay penalty was Mesko's fault, and after our probowl kicker goes 1/4, I wouldn't be surprised if the holds are off a little. As a punter, he's fine.

Yeah it is interesting to me how mesko holds and how ingram snaps. Everyone gives BB credit for his ingram pick but i haven't heard anyone actually noticing his play (me included) maybe that means he is doing his job well i don't know.

And on mesko... give the kid some time ppl

You know what the first thing I thought of when Arrington hit that guy?

52 Yard Punt - 15 Yard Penalty = Net 37 yards.

If it was Hanson back there that's exactly the same yardage he would get on a punt with no penalty.

Mesko so far has been really good with the limited opportunities he's had.
