I knew it, BB anticipated this move and now has the OC slot open and ready for him! NEM will be insufferable with Tice's mind completely open to his telepathic suggestions.
Tice knew it was coming or he wouldn't have asked to have the decision made as early as possible. Face it, the Vikings are starting over and this year's problems are a hold over from the last owner's policies. Tice, released early, can now be considered for another HC job, or an OC job; he only plays stupid on TV.
It'll be interesting to see what happens to Tice, because, all things considered, the Vikings weren't as awful as it looked like they were going to be early on. And I think Tice knew he was most likely gone for weeks now. I'm sure he'll have no difficulty getting employment elsewhere, though I'm not sure about a HC job.

Looks like things are getting serious in Minnesota, first a code of conduct and now getting rid of Tice...are there any more Tom Coughlin types out there???
I was impressed with his sense of humor about it this past week... he joked about the "five year extension" not yet coming through, a little dig at Jim Haslett.
